Membership

 

Seafordspirit is run on a membership basis, with a governing committee, elected by our membership.  We hold Annual General meetings either in person or online, dependent upon the current situation.

Membership is open to all who wish to participate, support and belong to Seafordspirit.  Membership is on an annual basis, with renewal due each January 1st.   There is a membership fee of £15 each year.   This does entitle members to some discounted events and priority to membership only events.

​

Being a member also gives the opportunity to apply for the Ernest Massam Bursary.  The Bursary gives those individuals the opportunity of assistance with workshops and training events held at Seafordspirit, the costs being met by the bursary for one full year.   Ernest Massam was a founding member, vice President and Treasurer for many years, his generous gift from his estate enables us to provide the bursary.

As a member, you also have the opportunity to vote on committee places, become a committee member and have a voice in the running of the church.
